ERP5 on Debian
The goal of this page is to describe how ERP5 can be installed on current versions of Debian using current versions of Zope and other packages as much as possible following the strategy outlined in DownloadSourceCode.
Required Stuff
- Zope
I've taken Zope 2.10.0 ("latest"). The aq-dynamic patch does no longer fit because the Zope code base has had some considerable changes in the meantime. I broke the patches into two because I'm unsure about where to place the test script in the new Zope tree, so take the location encoded in that patch with two grains of salt. These are the patches: aq-dynamic.patch, test-script.patch
- Localizer
There are two versions of Localizer, depending on which version of Zope you have. For Zope at or after version 2.7, they recommend version 1.1.2b, avaliable here: http://download.ikaaro.org/localizer/Localizer-1.1.2b-metapackage.tar.gz

Based on my current research, ERP5 on Debian isn't popular enough to be well documented, but (of course) I found some information snippets which may or may not be applicable, and even lead to faster and easier results. These are collected below in no particular order:
